what is the spec for a standard ZR-1 battery? CCA, size i.e. length/width/height? side post terminals?

All these will be required before recommending.....having said that if Optima do one I would recommend them. www.supac.co.uk is the place I use to supply mine for the C5.

BTW does this mean you are actually going to take the car somewhere?

I find Duracell AA batteries are good in my remote control, good fit and they last for ages.

Hi Cliff - if she can suck start a Harley (potato-potato-potato) then why don't you just get some croc-clips and connect them to her positive and negative terminals and try that? I'm sure you'd find after a few turns something would *splutter* into life

Hiya Cliff - trust all's well with you.

C4KOH happy enough, though I suspect - again - some problem with the secondaries. Vacuum seems OK, but I think maybe some of the linkage isn't opening all secondary butterflies [the actuators themselves are fine]... just haven't had an evening set by to be bothered removing the plenum, but will do soon enough.

Hows's the black Z doing?

How do we motivate you then Cliff? (BTW Gixer told me you're back running - hope it's going well)

Your comment about wishing you knew what you were doing seems a lot at odds with your own rebuild work on your car. Wash your mouth out with soap and water!

What's the worries/probs you've got at the moment with it (if you're okay to share...)

Dear Agony Aunt Fran weeping wink

I was happy with the job i did on the motor but all the techno involved in calibration is just not up my street,i dont understand it unless shown ,i might aswell be climbing Mount Everest biggrin

I think i took too large a step for my knowledge and taking out the secondaries left me with a bridge too far to workout. All i need now is someone to help me 'pimp my ride',and get me back cruising. As for the running i finished on a high last Sept, but getting back into it is ing murder, other than that ime a Happy Clappy Chappy hippy

I'm sure you'll get it sussed. There must be some good stateside people who know what's going on with this mod.

As for the running went out and did 8 today (training) - pretty warm I would say! It is murder getting back in - I had a month out of it really when we moved, good luck with getting over the hump!
