Tempted to buy one.

From everything I have heard these are fairly bulletproof. Is this the case? I have just come from a TVR Cerbera and the pain of constant repairs (6k in 6 months) was debilitating.

Any responses gratefully received and also suggestions as to insurance companies?

I already have a 68 but I am guessing that this wont fit under classic insurance.

My 2003 Z06 daily driver costs £500 a year fully comp, my other one the twin turbo 650 BHP one is only £400 a year 'cos of the limited mileage. Both insured with A Plan.

Only thing against the 2001 is it 'only' had 385BHP whereas 2002-2004 have 405BHP. Also some early ones allegedly drink oil at an alarming rate, but run fine.
