Well I was sorely tempted to buy a TVR as it ticks all the boxes for me but the sensible part of me won the day, I'm now looking at C5 Z06's.

Sadly no, decided to put it on hold as I am out of the UK 20 weeks of this year.
Too much of a car to be just sitting there when I can't drive it.
I'll keep you posted though.

How did you manage to get that weight out of the car?

plenty of money and time...from big things (front and rear steel defences, obsolete and heavy brake calipers, air conditioning, etc) to the smaller bits (race battery, no power windows, sparco race seats instead of heavy leather seats, lightweight interior, etc etc). the car at this weight level returns to be a real sportcar, otherwise stock (and with the ridiculous L48 anti pollution engine) it was a two door limo...

That's what I like to see a proper Corvette without the additional weight slowing it down good on you Panic !

They're really rather nice. Does the C3 get raced or is it a track day weapon?
