Now Chysler has been sold off not to GM I wonder if the Viper will still be made a bit more upmarket to compete more against the Vette?
Its a great car but not in the same class a Vette.

they are now producing the 2008 viper, its been revised and now comes with 600hp and 560lbs and more factory options

The "new" Viper the 600BHP one looks great in the photos, dare I say it looks better than a C6!
I would wait until the "blue devil"/C6 SS is launched next year before committing my hard earned to either one.

I've never been sure whether the Viper is profitable to make and sell or whether it's simply been used as a ahalo model. IIRC volumes are tiny compared to Corvette.

your right, 10 years of viper production = 1 year of vette
production time has been reduced since the 'new' shape 2003 model came out, think its now upto 18 per day, 5 days a week and they dont work overtime

Morgan don't produce 18 in a week so Vipers are mass production items in comparison !
