Spoke with the suppling dealer couple of days ago. He says that GM are ahead on development so expect earlier delivery!
The original date was August / September 2008.
Also in an interview with Bob Lutz (from Car and Driver) he says the car will have `larger displacement` than the Z06! They have had to limit power also, but more than 600hp, less than 700hp! Guess the 650hp mark will be about right. Should move along OK then!

given the current exchange rate, perhaps when I sell my 2003 Z06 I should stick all of the money in a US bank account for a while
