Well, reading through April's EVO, I see much journalistic froth about the new Lambo.

Yes, it looks nice.

But on it goes about this Superleggera - Super light.

Hmmm. No mention in the write-up of the 'vette Z06. Strange that.

Could it be that the Z06's 3150lb weight (1429kg) is just 9kg more than the Lambo?

And the Lambo's 522hp a mere 17hp more than the 'vette? (but of course a lot less torque)??

Sensational journalism notes that this Lambo is 373hp/ton, 302hp/ton for the GT3 RS, and the 333hp/ton of the F430 Stradale. However, what was amiss was the Z06 trumps these also...

There's no doubting that the Lambo is a fine car, but to omit that the humble Chevy approaches that for 1/3 of the price could have at least been mentioned. But then the story loses a little shine, don't it?

According to the article on PH about the Superleggera that is the "dry" weight the fully loaded with fuel, oil, water etc. is about 1530kg.
Inever know whether the weights that are quoted by different companies are the dry or as you would buy the car weights as this makes a big difference to performance.
