spotted corvette on m4 sunday

whilst driving back from south wales on sunday in my griffith, came across a very nice burgundy corvette with the top down, exchanged smiles and waves, drove together for quite a way, anyone on hear?

was it a C3?

couldn`t tell you what model it was I`m afraid, fairly straight lines, sort of wedge shaped and dark burgundy colour, driver must have been early thirties?
