That's quite nice

I see GM took the new Camaro to the Geneva motorshow this year. That can only be good news...

Oh yes. I really hope the new Camaro gets sold over here officially. Hell, unofficially will do. There are enough importers around, so I'm sure they'll be a few on the roads.

I was never a massive Firebird/Trans Am fan, but this photoshop above looks terrific. It's got terrific proportions and I love that feature line down the side (very Ferrari 599).

Erm, I think it looks like a late 70's Trans am crashed into a late Corvette (Corvette won but the Trans am left it's lights and nose cone...)

Pony cars aren't really my thing being by definition an overpowered version of a modest chassis but when properly executed they do at least look nice - which I guess is why Monaro hasn't generated many sales despite its great performance per £.

I suspect the Monaro may be a victim of the Vauxhall badge, bit like the VX220, whilst they do have some relatively banzai cars out at the moment, it still doesn't quite give you the reassurance that it'll be a focussed and together machine. And I guess many people who overlook the Monaro do it on the basis that they don't want to turn up to a party and explain to the masses that despite being a Vauxhall it is a serious performance motor...just be easier to buy something like an M3 or Porker (second hand)...
