I'm so embarrassed, popped into halfwits today for some new wiper blades and had a gander to check they didn’t really have any of the oils i would want to use for the upcoming service. Well to my surprise the one in Farnborough gate is now stocking the aforementioned amber nectar of the vette.
Yep Mobil 1 5w30 in 4L and 1L bottles. May need a mortgage to buy it though at £45 and £15 respectively but at least its available.
So if you can’t be bothered with mail order or the black market, you can always put a paper bag over your head and take a look in your local chav emporium
Just wish they would stock 10w30 also, as that’s what the viper is rather fond of

That is totally outrageous
Last time I bought a 4 qt flask at Walmart it was $20. What sort of mark up is that
Ditto, use Keith at Eurovettes for oil. Always good prices, and a nice fella to boot :-)
AFAIK, the 'W' part of the 5W-30 or 10W-30 is for the viscosity when cold (Winter)... I'm not sure our temperatures in Blighty are cold enough to make the 'W' part make much difference... the main thing I think is the '30'...
