Wont Andy at A&A Corvette ship outside the US ? Ive bought from him before and there was no problem..

Unfortunately, you will probably find shipping via Moving parts more expensive. The added cost of having to ship to Northern Ireland after London messes it up a bit.

It is easier and cheaper to go direct. And $600 for an exhaust really isnt that bad....Its not as if its a small item you are posting. Hell, ive even had serious hassle just trying to post an exhaust to England from Northern Ireland !!!

Can't say that I agree with you here Stevie. The system does work and it is cost effective but not for everything. Being in Northern Ireland isn't the problem, it is what you were shipping which, if my memory serves me, was some very large drag racing tyres.

Shipping tyres by air is never cost effective because you are moving fresh air and the charges are based upon the volume rather than the weight of the items!

These days I am supplying the parts as well and bringing them in on my consolidation. This makes the Ecklers, Mid America and other product that I supply very cost effective.

Apart from that, are you going to be at Shakespeare County Raceway on the June 2/3 weekend for the Yanks meeting? I am organising the Moving Parts Corvette Challenge ( Details to follow) It would be good to see you!

Steve, Sorry if you thought I was maybe ruling you out as a shipping possibility....that wasnt my intention.
Re the tyres...I thought it was a sea based shipment you did from NY to London ?? I do actually still want a set of tyres... I ended up just buying from Hauser last time around.

I do have a few dates planned, one of which was June 10th for Classic Ford at Santa Pod.

I'll also be at Elvington on 27th of May for Scoobyshootout. Havent decided if I'll be taking my car or not though. Will likely passenger in a Subaru if I dont..
I want to do as much racing as possible this year....but June 2/3 would make 3 weekends in a row !!!
Id love to....but its kinda expensive. I wont rule it out though. I'll maybe see if Joel has any plans to go.

i have a ram srt-10 and bought a performance exhaust from one of the supporting vendors there and it cost $100 to ship so i think $600 is plain stupid considering the vet exhaust prob has less mass!!
ps sori vetguru its a black interior so need black mats!!

$100 is a bargain !!!! Unless its been extremely small and light items, I dont think Ive ever had stuff shipped for so little.

Hi. I need to ship a whole C3 front clip back to the UK from Ecklers in FL. I'm flying out there in July on holiday but would it be best to send it myself or through moving-parts?

Cheers!
