Help! I need to know the relevant specs for the C6 Z06, i.e. PCD, offset and caliper clearance for the front and rear.

For instance, I thought that the C6's PCD bolt pattern was the same as the C4, but somebody else says they changed...

Does anyone have that info to hand please?

thanks,

C6 wheels will fit a C5 and C4 wheels will fit a C5 so I reckon the bolt pattern is the same for all three generations. Suspect the offsets are different though !

5 Bolt PCD 4.75" (I think from memory) I assume you are looking for some aftermarket wheels or you are after a brake upgrade, either way the info will be available somewhere on the web

C6 Z06 brake disk info here for example:

I know that you should use adaptors when fitting C5 wheels to a C4, and also adaptors if you're putting the 17" C4 wheels onto a 16" wheel C4. I know this is of little relevance to teh C6 question, but I would be very careful about getting the full details on it as Chevrolet/Corvette do make little 'adjustments' to these things even within the same generation...

Ah, I didn't know about needing to use adaptors between generations. That explains what the wheel guy was telling me.

Thanks for that, I will do some more research. Yes I am getting some 18" wheels made up by Image as it should work out a lot cheaper than importing a set from the US.

David - have a word with a very good friend of mine Pete Ormond at PWS
He specializes in performance wheels for top end market - he's sorting me a new set of wheels for my C5 Z06 - the chrome is just peeling off mine !

he might be able to sort you out a nice set of wheels without having to get them made
I had a set of Veloce wheels - 18" weighed in at only 30kgs for the set ! It's all about unsprung weight

Thanks Nigel, interesting read there. It appears that Chevy used to make some handed rotors until the C6 when they stopped bothering! rolleyes

No, actually I did speak to Peter (his surname is Ormrod by the way!)and he is going to look into what wheels may suit my purposes. I dunno if he will be able to get the exact sizes I need, but thanks for the recommendation!
