Not a lot of people know this but Mithril acquired that C5 on 6th April 2001.
...and it tends to jump out of third gear of you give it some beans!
Ok, I give up, how'd you two know so much about this car?

Sorry don't know much about the car, but know how hard it is to push a TVR Griffith around Goodwood. We did a Red Nose Day stunt some years ago, and I think we still hold the record for the slowest lap ever of Goodwood
I was the first person to drive it "properly" after it arrived off the transporter. I had wanted to test drive a manual car and it took over 6 months for the old dealer network to set up a test drive for me. When they finally did it was in the car that they were giving to Mithril. Also had a play in an Alfa Romeo, a 911, a DB3 and a formula 2000 car (they firmly showed me the 'slow down' board with that one ).
There was also some kind of 4WD Bronco or something that drove like a canal boat. Wouldn't touch one of those things with a barge pole !
