Bargain! I'll have (at least) one please! I've replied on the CCCUK site, but will happily discuss further here?

I'm not at all hard on clutches but with more torque than standard, it can't hurt to have a spare or two standing by!

Thats an excellent price. I just bought one myself from sdpc for 4x that (with the flywheel and shipping!)

Just a FYI the clutch also fits any LS1 when used with an LS2 flywheel, which is what Im doing with it. So a spare for my heavy foot would be great.

Are these suitable with/without mods for a C5 variant Z06?

Nope, don't think so, I looked at them a couple of weeks ago and the clutch is considerably bigger diameter than the C5 Z06 clutch so I doubt it would clear the bellhousing.

Dunno if any of you have changed the clutch in a C5 but I can tell you from experience it is not an easy job. It means removing the exhaust system, then the tunnel plate, then the transaxle to get the prop shaft out! You can look at the clutch inside the bellhousing as there is an inspection plate so at least you can get an idea when it is going to expire.

If you do some searching on ls1tech, and the us vette sites they say it does fit as long as you use the LS2 flywheel.
Its a good near stock upgrade that handles 500bhp pretty easy.

See here for just one example www.z06vette.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1082551

Steady - one thing at a time. Once we've sold the clutches, we will break open the box of LS7 EFI Live which has come into our possession................

Anyone else want a clutch??

Patience Sir,
I works with a number of pids (sensors) now, but not all. I don't think full support is too far away.

Hey c5ragtop Id ask in the HSV forum if you have more to shift. You could well finish them off there.

sounds good if ringram reckons it will work with the LS1 then I'd be interested in getting one to put past. Then I just need to find the LS2 flywheel :-) Someone wants to send me details on where to send money etc I'll get it sorted - need to sort postage/courier as well as I'm a bit further north than most unless anyone is going along the BTCC at Brands and would care to meet up?

Send C5RagTop a PM and let him know where you are located. We attend events all over the UK so I'm sure someone will be in your area soon if you can wait.
