F**K That's a Loud Z06 !!!

Well the old heavy exhaust boxes are gone and the new stainless steel sports system is now fabricated onto the Lingenfelter ZEEEEE 06 (more like little bean cans). Damn it's loud, sounds awesome, like a mobile thunder cloud going down the road hehe The old boxes looked very restrictive I'm told. Sounds like another 100 horses coming out the back, maybe I found the missing ones hehe

You hooligan you! What does it sound like with the valves closed? Still pretty loud I should imagine as there doesn't appear to be a silencer for the valves to direct the sound through...

Hi Mate.. yeah it's crazy, my valves closed sound like yours on open. I'll have to pop round some time. Don't worry I won't need to call first, you'll hear me coming 20 miles away...

Cheers for the first hand experience yesterday Eric! That is a mightly loud Z06!

I was walking the dogs a good couple of blocks away and heard a rumbling noise. I thought "that sounds good, I wonder what it is" then you phoned me on the mobile and I realised straight away.

Shame there is no way it will be allowed onto any UK race track or I would be tempted to do the same conversion myself...

I was right though, there is virtually zero difference in volume with the valves closed now, although it might take away the worst of the drone on the motorway.

Er, have to say, when Gixer tried) to leave our house at 1am last night, it did sound a bit good, and even at pootle over speedramp speeds we are now expecting a neighbourly lynch mob today. Never mind the fact we could here him practically all the way back to the A14...

I suspect he might have a touch more noise without any cats...
