Hi Everyone, not posted in the vette section before but im seriously tempted with the New C6ZO6 after sitting in one at the show. Looks great in Daytona Orange(?) too.

Im from the UK currently on holiday out in florida, heres a few piccies of the other vettes on display at the show.

This is the orange colour I sat in on the Chevy Stand really impressive in the flesh

My son sneaked into this one.

Hope theres not to many pictures.

Don't know whether you spotted but this one's a modern C5 Vette fitted with retro body kit.
Looks rather good!

I was thinking the same. Is it a new version of the kit that started a couple of years ago as I thought that one had single headlights and didn't look as good ?

The first one was a 1953 replica. This one is much nicer.

They both look superb and I too would like one - let's say a yellow 62 using my Z06 as the donor car. Trouble is I haven't yet finished the current mods yet without embarking on more.

Thanks to QUO for posting the original pics.

I rather like this all the looks with none of the hassle of old brakes or engine re builds

Sorry, I really don't like any of those C1/C2 kits. They're not that hard to find, why not buy an original and upgrade/modernise the bits you want to?

The bodywork of the retro kits is awful as the proportions and detailing are all wrong.

Nearly as bad as the MR2-based Ferrari "replicas" IMO...
