Dave Evans brought in ten sets of sports brakes and pads they are zinc coated so they won’t rust like the standard ones

I think they are in stock with Mr Ian Goss http://iangoss.co.uk/

Thanks, will drop him a line and see if he has them. Are there any other stockists in the UK?

I needed some replacement discs in a hurry, (MOT fail rolleyes )
So I got some from www.ebcbrakesdirect.com/
Around £370 for a full set
Look and work perfectly well imo. thumbup

Re pads,
I already had a set of Hawk Performance pads, but if you can't get them the red stuff from EBC are supposed to be "ok".

I've got the EBC grooved and dimpled brakes with red stuff pads. They work fine but you will notice a gentle hissing noise under light braking which becomes quite a noticeable rumbling when used hard on track.

I was surprised to see that the discs were actually black
But after a few miles they are shining up nicely.

Fletch 360, were your EBC brakes noisy at first?, I have just fitted some red stuff pads and the groove and dimpled rotors, just seems pretty noisy! they do work very well though!!

I found the EBC discs noisy, some hiss when used gently and a rumbling sound when used firmly. Also found that the black paint in the hub area quickly became grey when exposed to real world use.

Yeah have to admit only have 40 miles on them so far, but they are noisy (can actually heare them over the exhaust), perhaps they will need a while to settle, checked the EBC website Q&A and they suggest that they need a couple of hundred miles to bed in!

I'm running the Delco Durastop rotors slotted and drilled, with Ferodo DS2500 pads. They are very good, and no noise I can hear ! Significantly better than the stock, and the DS2500 pads are way better than the Hawk ones I had before.
