This is just to thank you for the seamless, professional service of the Park Lane crew during the delivery of my 2007 Z06 today. I can recommend the shop to all other potential customers without hesitation.

Yes. First Vette! Previous similar cars: 996TT, AM Vanquish, 996GT3 RS, 997 S and I must say I'm very much impressed by the Z06.

Ah - it's the black one - that Paul Miracle Detail did
Paul does all of my cars as well

Are you based in London - yellow and black vette's smoking down parklane sounds good

Actually perhaps we all should have a little night rendevous down parklane one night ?

Ivarga

btw - Snetterton
Not sure how experienced you are - but please do take Corum (the last long sweeping corner) steadily
The last person who didn't take that advice onboard, ended up writing is car off

Excellent, another Batmobile joins the clan! thumbup

Are you taking the car out on track already? If so that beats even my record!

Are there any CCUK track days planned? I don't remember reading about any, just donut-eating meets...

Godzilla,

i have Steve Gugliemi's Mazda rented for the day

www.petrolheads.co.uk/pics/news/14801/mazda_rx8_britcar_team-L.jpg

,but I'm sure I'll have a few laps with the Z06s as well - I'll do an onboard video and post it Saturday night

Woof,

I'll try to be careful coming out of Corum, I still remember my first FPA testing when I did touch the grass on the exit and I finished spinning at the pit lane entry

Hey - that's alright then

I tested a FPA last october for the winter series - first time in a slicks and wings car - pretty quick, quicker than brundle son on the day - but FPA boys were far more interested in looking after him and JP's son - so decided to spend my money on my C5Z06 instead - probably a good choice

Might look at doing Mini Cooper challenge this year instead

I did theFPA winter series in 2005; it was very good fun; at the end of the day it costs much more than the list pirce (they are operating a pool to pay for the damages), but it was very well organized and the quality of data they provide is also exceptionally good

Good man, the proper way to run the Z06 in!

Jethro B span his Caterham Academy car at Corum in one of our last races and very nearly had the mother of all accidents with a marshals' post...

I have a set of Racing Brake's front discs, Raybestos ST43 race pads all round, Goodridge SS lines and Motul RB600 fluid. The standard discs are crap for track work and the pads don't last very long!

You'll be fine for a few laps though.

Next step is some adjustable coilovers and 18" track wheels so I can run Michelin Sport Cups/Pirelli Corsas.
