I have to sell C4 KOH once more

2 children, 1 salary (etc.) ...

As a few people know the motor, let me know of any interest - I'll put the car on ebay motors tomorrow.

A 55,000 mile only ZR1, with a new clutch, Haibeck chip, headers, Corsa exhaust and the nice new grand sport wheels she's a pretty car - and quick too.

Will be looking for what I can get for her, for a quick sale - the bidding will start at £7500. I will sell for any offer at this price or higher.

Hi there,

Some photos below:

Specs:

Red on Red, 1991 ZR1 6-speed Manual, 32valve LT5 V8 co-designed with GM by Lotus. Only Corvette (along with another 6500 or so ZR1s) to have overhead cams.
Stock except for Headers, Corsa Exhaust, Marc Haibeck Chip, Short-Shifter
Grand Sport wheels (as in the above photo)

Wheels, exhaust, headers and chip fitted within the last 3000 miles. Exhaust is growly, especially at 6500rpm!!

On a single 'go-out and take some video', she got 0-60 in 4.6s and 0-100 in 10 and a half, no doubt times could be improved but that was a first attempt.

Video on you tube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0Egyp4N-uA

The previous owner dyno'd her before the above mods I believe at 378hp, which is +3 on stock. With the above minor mods, I expect C4 KOH to pushing out around 400-420hp. 0-100 in 10 and a half the evidence of that!

The car drives fine, needs nothing particular. Had a new Clutch about 500 miles ago.

Front tyres with lots of tread, rears probably another season out of them.

Only two problems with the vehicle: Air Con needing re-charging and an ABS Warning light [probably a duff sensor or short somewhere].

Tax until end-July, MOT to about same.

Oh - and the ZR1 (in case anyone doesn't know) was known as the King Of the Hill. Hence the Corvette C4 KOH numberplate, included.

Thanks for all the info - certainly looks like from the photos !! Whats the condition of the bodywork like ?? Are they steel panelled or fibreglass ??

The red interior is a little bright isn't it ??!! Not too sure I could live with that but then beggars can't be choosers.........

Is it a fixed head or has it got a targa roof panel ??

I would give the bodywork 9/10, there are not many stonechips, some minor ones on the wing-mirrors, but overall it's very good.

As usual with corvettes, this is fibre-glass glass all round - so no rust at all. The underbody is nice and clean, with no rust either. Lots of alloy as well.

The red-interior is not too bright actually, and to be honest you don't spend too much time inspecting the interior!!

The roof panel - one piece, not T-Tops - comes out, and stores in the boot. 2 minute, 1-person job. There is plenty of boot-space as well, even with the roof-panel in place.

Thank for the photos, Brett.

Well, I have changed my mind - C4 KOH is no longer for sale. Money isn't everything is it?

I'm sort of fighting the overdraft, the bills, the children one hand... and then bollox I jump in the 'vette on the other.

Sorry to get anybody's interest up ;-) ... but what can you do...

Glad to hear it!

Easy solution - send the kids down the mine to work!
