Yes, great vid. Nice to see the old 0-180 (or whatever the kmh make!!) in 5th.
The C6 Z06 for me truly embodies exactly what a Corvette is supposed to do, namely be quicker than more or less anything it'll meet on the road, not need anything more than the odd oil change [cambelts? who needs them!!], oh - and be affordable.
Luckily for me, the car I lusted after when I was 16 - in 1991 - was a red Corvette ZR1, which is the car I have now. Nice to own the actual car of my dreams!!
I just hope this Z06 will inspire other young men to go down the Corvette route.
In the Z06, Corvette have a car that makes competitors squirm in the taillights.
But no matter how many horsepower, how many 7:40's at the 'ring the Corvette does, it will always have one advantage over any competitor: it's a Corvette, with a worldwide following since 1953 that is simply like no other.

Hi Guys,
Nice Video, and the words are good too. If you don't speak German, there's a lot about the attraction of displacement, torque and thrust ("Schub" - all related to the ZO6.
His summary is neat. In effect, he says, you drive the Gallardo using your brain and your understanding, and quickly. The Porsche you drive using your heart. The Corvette you drive with your eggs. ("Eggs" is colloquial German - for balls) !
A remarkably balanced report from a German, whom you might expect to rate the Porsche as invincible.
His ultimate best car ? He would like the Gallardo, with the Porsche's steering and the Corvette's engine.
Hope that helps.

Yeah, I thought it a good, unbiased review too. Also, I understood and inferred all of the above from my school boy GCSE Deutsch!
