As the car doesn't exist yet and won't for at least 8 months.......can I have the 1st one in the whole of Europe?

Nah, first ones gone already!
500 for the first year 2008 model and 1000 for `09 then no more. Thats what I`ve been told. These production numbers are total including the USA. Pretty rare me thinks....

I can get one from my "pet" dealer in the USA if I want one but until I see the spec, prices etc. I am not going to even thing about one.

You`ll be lucky to get one at list in the US. One benefit of buying from europe is list price with no dealer mark ups. Just returned from FL where I saw ZO6 + $10,000 because it was `rare & hard to obtain` on the window sticker!
Regards spec, 650 minimum from supercharged motor + carbon bits to reduce weight, suits me!
The spec is not final as yet, but as a guide it sounds promising!

650 bhp and $100,000 is the best estimate. I'd take a Z06 for me and a C6 convertible for the wife at that rate for a more cost-effective total of 900 bhp!

Another route to a supercharged 650 bhp would be the Callaway C16, based on the stock C6 so available as manual/auto/coupe/convertible. But if you go the full works including their dodgy body kit (why the E-type nose?) it's gonna cost you an eye-watering $125,000+.

Another alternative is the latest 600 bhp Viper (why the Sagaris hood louvres?)
