Happy New Year to all
Boring silly request - does anyone have a stock of Chrome C5 valve caps - one's gone missing from my car - and save me buying in some from the US, wondered if anyone had stock in the UK ?

You might want to consider this first

I had to replace 2 sensors, so have done some research. The manufacturer is Schrader, and both they and Chevy recommend that you keep the stock valve caps as the stem and cap are actually the transmitter antenna. Changing the caps could affect the RF characteristics of the assembly. However, I have used the "plastic chrome" caps with the little C5 logos from Ecklers and there were no problems. Remember, there are 2 types of sensor, pre2000 and post 2000, so be sure and check against your VIN or an old sensor, as there was some overlap. You must relearn ALL the sensors onto the system, either via the DIC or using a scantool. The procedure is on here somewhere I think, or drop me a mail.
Happy new year, one and all !!
