Help with CD stuck in CD Player

I don't know if anyone can help. My car has a Delco Bose CD player and I have got a CD stuck and cannot eject or play it. All that works is the radio. I know some European players have a little release button but there is no obvious way to retrieve it. Does anyone have any ideas?

I had a similar problem some years ago on a friend's iMac.

The way to get it out was with some very thin, long-nosed pliers and a lot of messing around.

Thanks. Managed to retrieve the CD although the mechanism is now stuck....
