Hi

This is my first post, so firstly hi to all.

I have a 2000 red C5 and ever since I've owned the car, it has had a single error B2805 C No Transmitters Programmed error. However both key fobs and all four tyre sensors work absolutely fine.

I've tried to go through key fob programming, but with the hold lock+unlock 1st fob instruction, holding either fob down for 15 seconds just flashes the signal lights but the display stays on hold lock+unlock 1st fob ie it never moves to the 2nd key fob. After a couple of minutes the key fob programming mode ends.

As everything works I've just ignored the error. But on stumbling across this forum I thought I'd make a quick post to see if anyone had any ideas.

Thanks in advance.

Is the battery in the second fob ok?
If it is a historic code try resetting the DIC or does it keep coming back.
Try disconnecting the battery - it won't harm the car.

If still no joy, try asking on the corvetteforum.com (or the UK club forum)

Or someone with the full workshop manual may chip in.

Good luck.

The batteries in both fobs are ok as far as I know (they both lock and unlock the car from a distance).

I've tried resetting the code, but it always comes back.

And I've just put a new car battery in.

I'll try the other forums, thanks.
