Trying to locate a pair of Corvette Grand Sport wheel mouldings / fender flares.

Tried all over the net and had no luck with Ecklers, Mid-America, Zip etc etc
Tried Eurovettes and Claremont in the UK already.

Anybody have a set or know where i can get a pair ?

Thanks if you can help.

Contact Steve at Moving Parts. You can ship them to his New York address and he'll do the rest. Sorted.

Come on then - what are they for? I assume by your forum name it's not a GrandSport? Some project brewing?

Good luck finding the bits.

I bought a combined 24 inches of rear wheel/tyre width for my C4.
Ebay natch, seemed like a good idea after a few beers, and now i have the famous carlos fandango superwide wheels look. Tasteless and expensive !

The arch lips should
a. get plod off my back by rendering my vehicle legal again.
b. Make it look less redneck.

Now if I could only find Jean Pierre Luniere super skis..............

Something like this C4 at Hockenheim last year - wearing a set of ZR1 rears

The fronts are a fine size, dead flush with the edges....

but the rears (and excuse the boxes and other wheels lying around) are a bit redneck

hence the arch extensions. Somebody told me i could have the back faces of the wheels milled down a bit but that seemed a bit dodgy to me.

Doesn't look too bad as it goes, nice wheels too. Were they for a C4?

Have you had problems from the Law? I would have thought there are many worse self improved Corsas running round with other significantly more illegal mods to keep them busy?

No they are just BMW wheels.

If you saw it from directly behind it looks well illegal. I have had a few run ins with plod and they never seem to fully appreciate the aesthetics off the situation. They just dont have the same eye for art that we do.

Have you got any full pics of your car - would like to see what the whole looks like if I could be so nosy!

Did the wheels fit straight to the Chevy bolt pattern?

i will get some pics when i can get it out next, might be a week or so yet.

the bmw pcd is 120mm the chevy at 4.75inch = 120.65mm. They bolted straight on, no worries. 0.62mm is less than a bawhair. I just had to watch out for the offset.

The hub size for bmw is i think 74mm, whereas chevy is 72.5.

Here are some shots of my Corvette with the wheels on.

The rears are "just" illegal, if such a thing exists.

Do I need Grand sport flares ?
