Semms the guy had not long had a new exhaust fitted. Related or not, this doesn't bear thinking about

he said he heard something underneath the car, possibly a cat coming loose - the temps would possibly do this. Bit of a catastrophe (sorry)

I seem to recall the new viper had a thing for setting its bodywork slightly alight on a top gear review (with aftermarket system) - it cant have been fuel pump/tank related or surely it would have been a different story?

Pitiful sight to see though specially on such a nice looking car

According to the M3forum thread, somebody on there knows the ZO6 owner, and apparently it threw a rod through the block, and the oil on the headers started the fire. Bit worrying as that engine is meant to be bomb proof. Check out the reply I left on the M3 forum, should raise a chuckle !

it threw a rod and he didnt notice? Bomb proof or not you would notice a rod being thrown!

what page and what user ID? I've currently read through 11 pages of crap and all I've discovered is the Z06 is a pile of crap according to some (I know its not!)

Viper one on TG was caused by Clarkson pouring lighter fluid into the sill area the area does get hot but not hot enough to make a TV program watchable.
