I know its not a corvette but thought this would be the best place to ask.

Have any cadillac cts-v been sold in the uk?

Anyone driven one?

Cadillac never bothered getting full European type approval because they didn't think it would sell in left hand drive and converting it to right hand drive was going to push the price up to M5 levels.

We'll have the STS-V and XLR-V nextyear though (LHD only). Supercharged V8...

I was planning on importing one but in the end, it worked out too expensive and it was annoying because part of the price was the sock GM On-Star Satellite package which is useless here. A ealer I went to in the US also seemed to know zilch about the car. Are the front wings steel, I asked. He walked over to the car, rapped his knuckles on them and said "Yup". I asked if the car had orange indicators at the rear. He didn't know...

I have seen one for sale here in the UK second-hand.

There were a few road-tests on the car when it first came out, including here in the UK (I think they sell it in Germany). Basically, it understeers a little, they far preferred the Monaro VXR, the steering wheel was too big and the brakes faded a lot (as they did on the Monaro). They also thought the interior was cheap although iImust confess I rather liked it. I think in the end, it was over £50k even in LHD form. Good-looking car though.

yikes I suspect the 500 bhp V10 with a blue and white badge might have got that ground covered already!
