Spoke with a local tuning shop who carried out tuning on a Viper Ram for me about the Z06.
They have a Dynojet single roller dyno. In my experience more reliable power graphs. Had problems before with the twin roller designs, my cars and trucks have climbed out under power and wheel spun at 160mph!(on the rollers)I know they should have tied down better, but the tuning shops could`nt do it with the power being produced at the time..this shop with the Viper Ram and single roller Dynojet, no problems.
Any way, they should have the required tuning gear in a couple of weeks to sort her out! Let you know on the before and after....
Oh, by the way, should have possible custom high flow air filter to go in also!

Those slippy rollers won't even hold a stock C5 auto if it kicks down.....

If they do a good tuning job please can you post details of where/who they are? there are many C5/C6 owners who would like a recommendation of a good tuning shop...

What do you mean by "the required tuning gear"? Do you mean the software to remap the ECM on the Z06? If so he could turn out to be very popular (if he's any good)...

Full details will be given when it happens, don`t want them being bothered until they`ve done mine! All the tuning gear is being sourced in the US.
Regards being any good, their previous work for me was spot on and for me they are a 10 mile drive away. Could`nt get much better!
It`ll be interesting to see what power mine puts down on this Dynojet compared with the others that have been done. I`ve seen most US one`s have posted up to 460 rwhp. Time will tell......
Oh mine has a gear lever rattle, only when cold, over 2500ish revs. Any one else have this ?

Wortec could tune the vette pcm, I'm sure they'd do a good job as would Ringram who also posts on here. Look in the Monaro forum if you need info

Dynojets tend to read a bit higher than most other dynos too..

Wortec are the HPTuners UK guys, and Richard ( Ringram ) is the EFILive dealer.

As Mike says, either should be able to assist with PCM tuning.
