The hood scoop is awful, looks like someone left their laptop case on the bonnet. I hope that is just a 'mock up' until they refine the design.

Not sure I'll be convinced to buy one, guess I'll wait until we see the true spec.

Whilst 650bhp sounds great, I hope the supercharger isn't too loud. I'm not a massive fan of the "whine" they make, especially when it drowns out that V8 burble/roar.

And yes, that hood scoop had better be better integratred on the production model.

I read somewhere that the hood bulge was just a rough mock up for this prototype, certainly looks like that.

Here's a nice little Photoshop of a Z06. I like the more pronounced hood scoop and revised headlights, more Viper-like. (I wish the standard 'Vette headlights didn't have the body-coloured surrounds).

Looks more like a power bulge than a hood scoop to me as I can't see any holes in it. Any bodywork changes in the C6 have got to be an improvement

I've never liked the C6 but have always thought that painting the light nacelles black make it a million times better looking. I can't see it being called an SS because that's a Camaro trademark designation and the Americans tend to be picky about things like that. LOL. Calling it a Stingray is going to alienate Steve Irwin fans...and isn't really aggressive enough.

They could do worse than steal the GT3 badge if they want to compete with Porsche.

Didn't they already put SS on the badge of a familymobile they sportified?

Yes, the Cobalt SS but then they've prostituted every heritage cue they ever had. It would seem odd to slap it on a Corvette. Mind you, I'm still waiting for the Matiz SS!

How about calling it the "Blue Ray". Oh, wait a minute someone's already thought of that...
