Does anyone have experience of the modified non-pop up lights from Westcoast Corvettes/Ecklers etc.
How good is the installation and final light quality?
If there is such a car in the uk, any photos?
I believe that "vetteheadracer's car is so fitted.

The lights I have came from a company called Spectre Werkes and they sell via Westcaost I believe.....it's so long since I bought might I can't remember where I got them from!

Breatheless Performance also do some and I used their C4 non-popup versions on Velveteen (1996 LT4).

The ones I have fit well and are easy to install and I fitted the HID upgrade kit at the same time so don't know what the standard bulbs are like.

The kit is okay, but my biggest problem has been aligning the lights correctly and also the brackets that the lights mount to are not the strongest, which can cause a slight flickering of the lights. I keep meaning to redesign a set of brackets but just haven't had the time.

I would consider using the standard lights with an HID upgrade kit as although it doesn't look as good as the C5R lights it will probably give better lighting at night.

There are at least two variants of these non-pop up lights and since the C5 variant of Z06 do not come as standard with fogs/spots, you cant flash the slow buggers.(My base C5 was an euro-spec with fogs, and these were wired to flash when the pop-ups were down, same as my 840.)
The C5r lights would give you this facility, it can be a safety issue.
