Wonder if that's the same one I saw heading south on the M23, just south of Gatwick, on Friday at about 10.00am. Looked about a 1975/76. Saw a yellow c5 coupe in Salisbury yesterday at about 4.00pm.

Vaughan, thats one of the meanest sounding C3s I've heard in ages. Can you enlighten me as to which system you have there, could be tempted for my Pace-Car! Drive on....

Hi v8d, thanks for the kind words, the system is a chambered exhaust from mid america, i got it through Keith Beschi of eurovettes, came in at around £290 to the door.Bolts onto stock manifold or if you have headers welding would be required, does hang down a little more than the previous system but i feel it is worth the sacrifice. Does sound good for a L48 with a supposed 165 BHP? grin factor guaranteed. if you want any more info dont hesitate to contact me.

Mmmmm Tempting ! I have long tube headers, but Welding is not a problem. I will discuss it with Keith next time I speak to him. Thanks for the info, appreciated. Do you ever drink in the Ship?

Hi v8d, i only drink in the ship about once a year on a christmas pub crawl, but during the summer months you will hear me going past, as i regually (most nights)do a couple of laps around wokingham, get great sound between the buildings at about 5500rpm!then letting off to get the nice crakle on the overun.Tax has run out now for the winter so the residents get a bit of peace for 6 months! But next time you see me flag me down.p.s if you go to the cccuk forum theres a picture of my vette under the title smokin is good for you!see what ya think

Hi Eric and Vaughan
Be nice to see you both at the Fairmile or the Crispin. I try to make both of them, when business allows.
Eric, great to meet you finally, what a great day out that was. FYI, ZO6 test drive arranged, maybe you've talked me out of the AMV8V ......for now - hehehehe!
Vaughan, too bad about the tax, Wokingham's loss if you ask me !!!! What is it about tunnels and high walls? just too good to resist ragging it ! Irresponsible? Antisocial?
Probably, but who gives a sh*t ! - Rock on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eric, The Crispin meeting is on the 3rd Wednesday of each month and the Fairmile (far more people) is on the 4th Tuesday of the month. I need to get Mark to bring my Pacecar along one day. Trouble is he works nights all the time. Most people seem to stay til closing time. They are a very friendly bunch down there, and a great range of cars turn up. Hope to catch you soon! - V8D
