'69 seemed to be a nice year (wasn't there): moon landing, the stingray, the Camaro SS also nice from then too. And I think even also the 'stang looked pretty nice in '69 (or could have been the 68...).

The 69 Mustang,probably one of the first expressions of aggression put to use on a car using the 4 headlights and one which i am sure BMW noted for their future 3 series models.
