Anyone on here fancy entering a 3 hour grass track race in August?

The only rules are the car needs to be worth less than £500 and a Mitsubishi (no I'm not entering the Evo before you ask) but I am seriously thinking of buying a very old Lancer and entering that!

We could have used my Lancer which I part exchanged only a few weeks ago. More or less gave it to the dealer for £50. Bought a Volvo Estate (yeah I know but needs must. It does have a turbo though)

So we have a load of loonies charging round in a field somewhere in Lecicestershire in knackered Mitsis worth £500 and VHR is asking "what tyres would be best?".

demon tweeks do tyres especailly for grass track racing, very cheap for a change the most expensicve is £32, page 410 of the 2006 catalogue

perhaps 3 in a team each getting an hour each, splitting the costs.
I'd imagine 3 hours racing would be knackering for one person to do all the driving

I think there has to be a minimum of 3 drivers!

You'll be needing an extra car to get yourselves home from Lincolnshire then....

Check the verges of Lincolnshire's country lanes for dumped Lancers in August. You sure this isn't a ploy by the local owners' club to get spare parts cheap?
