With my return to UK coming into view and with gas prices, even here in Nevada, at record levels what sort of mileage do you get in UK?

How much petrol do you put in on average, how much does a full tank cost now, what sort of MPG do you manage and on what type of roads?

I'm averaging 20mpg, that's generally country roads travelling to work and back (25 miles each way) and some smaller trips around town. (2003 C5)

At a steady 80ish on the motorway I have seen 25 - 27mpg.

The worst average I have yet to see has been about 18mpg, but I would call this 'spirited driving!'

To fill the tank from empty is costing me about £52 ish, at about 94pence per litre (Sainsburys Super Unleaded, 98 Octane). Thats about £4.13 per UK Gallon.

That's exactly the same as I get in mine.

I typically get about 21 US mpg (= about 26 Imperial mpg). Goes down to 18 when I'm playing, and up to 30 when I'm behaving...

Interestingly, my exhaust mods (mufflers removed)resulted in a drop of about 15% mpg, but I'm not too sure if that is just because I keep blasting it now 'cos I like the noise

I got most ever the other day 20.9 mpg - long day of motorway and not too much tting about - (did surpise ZX12Rthough - thought he would piss me - kept him honest to 130ish - flat on tank not gaining!).

But I only have 5speeder tko in mine and cruise at about 3300 rpm - alot more than you t56'ers!

And I was complaining last week at $35 to fill up! Still a long way to go here in Nevada.

Thanks for the comments.

My dash displayed 29 mpg on the way back from collecting yesterday. I was driving slow but still impressed with that.

Its just dawned on me that it was probably us gallons not imperial. So does that mean its 34.8 mpg? Car is a us import z06 if that makes any difference.

In answer to your question, yes it would be 34.5 mpg calculated at 1.2 times your shown reading.
