You probably want the GM Y-Body Service Manual, it comes as a set of three volumes, cost about $200 when I got mine. Bought it from a GM dealer in Montana, Fichtner Chevrolet, by phone, its a standard thing and no problem for US dealers to get to you but its heavy so it was expensive even by the cheapest 6-week ground shipping method. What fault are you looking in to ? I've got the 2002 manual so it might not be exactly the same but I'll try to help if I can.
The Git I'm trying to get rid of is "service Ride Control", the codes pointed to the L/H Front Shocker being duff. Have changed it but has made no difference... and it wasn't cheap either....
Just on a side note I'm a bit of a Newbee to my Vette.. Does it have a Switch to turn off the passenger air bag ? And where the hell do you top up the Gearbox Fluid ??? (Auto)

Yes, on mine its inside the glovebox and operated by the ignition key. It'll light up a warning light until you switch it back on again.
I have a feeling that the position was changed on the '02 models though, yours may be elsewhere like in the boot or under the bonnet. Don't know about auto transmission I'm afraid, but the warning in the manual says that "The engine must be running when the transmission fluid fill plug is removed, or excessive fluid loss will occur". You are also advised to stand well clear when removing the plug and to have a container ready to catch any lost fluid. WTF ??? Another good reason why I never want to have an automatic !
What was the diagnostic code shown on the DIC for the ride control problem ?
Don't know as the man with the OB2 Code reader just told me what was wrong.... A Friend of mine is buying a All Singing and Dancing version for his work, and it should be here next week. So am hoping he can know do the code reading resting for me...
Found some of those manuals in the US, will be ordering them tomorrow.. Cheers Lads..
Hopfully see you around at the next meet and greet...

Have you tried reading the DIC codes by turning the ignition on (not starting the engine), holding down the Options button and pressing the Fuel button four times in a row ? The DIC will then scroll through the current error codes.
If you're not fast enough to catch the codes as they appear you can use the DIC buttons to scroll through the different areas to find what you want.
Oh, and you have mail at your PH email address.

According to the handbook, it is not necessary to check the transmission fluid on an auto as the only reason for fluid loss is a leak!! The book doesn't even tell you how to do it (yet it does for a manual transmission).
However, according to a guy on the Corvette Forum - "the way to check the fluid on the A4 is to jack the car up or put it on a lift and check the tranny fluid with the car running in Park through the FILL hole on the driver's side of the tranny."
If there was a conventional dipstick which you could use to check and top it up, it would probably come up through the centre console!!!

I have just purchased and received a 2001 manual from www.helminc.com
cost was 135$ plus p&p which was the only problem as they wanted something ridiculous like 150$ for international, so instead i did it through a friend in the US for 6.99$
the 135$ undercuts a few other places quoting 185$
