Apologies for this but the PH search ain't working so:

My insurance is due for renewal at the end of the month. I'm currently with Adrian Flux who quote £660 for next year on my C5.

Has anybody got some suggestions for some other insurers to try?

(only problem is that it's so cheap compared to the Cerbera or other cars I've had I don't really mind paying it - but if there's someone cheaper still out there...)

I would recommend MCE, ive never owned an american car and young age with no, no claims, they gave me an excellent quote

I'm with Flux too, however I recently heard that ASDA are now doing very competitive quotes, and I plan to go to them first before renewing... let us know if they help!

We were with Flux the last few years but their new quote was stupid - now back with Stevenage. May be worth shopping around

I'm also with Flux this year, but every year you have to shop around and see.

Marianne is with diamond aka elephant aka admiral. Online quote too but then she has a euro C5, don't know if it makes a difference if its an import. In viper world the difference between Chrysler and Dodge is a yes and no for some insurers.

I'm with MCE (and in the process of going through a claim )

£385 for my ZR1, and I am 30 with 9 points in the last 5 years, 6 still valid...

Them or Stevenage Insurance - who quoted I think £414 - are the cheapest I could find [I used to be with Stevenage a few years back]...

CIS (Cheletenham Insurance Service, I think ?) worth a go, or MCE as already recommended best quotes I had.

I just renewed my insurance 3 weeks ago. Renewal premium from Adrian Flux was £521, I tried Privilege who are advertising they'll beat any quote. They did with £519 and a policy I'm happier with over the Flux product so I'm now 'privileged'

NU Direct do my Z06 with a mirror NCB for £370 for 4000 miles a year. They took over Hill House so I was expecting a shafting but couldn't beat that quote anywhere.

I have my '73 with NU direct (ex Hill House Hammond) and my 2001 with Stevenage. Yup NU surprisingly are very competitive. They screwed up the database and admin during the takeover of HHH and so I never got a renewal until 2 months after the expiry !!!! so I went to Stevenage. But when the NU quote did come thru it was good and slightly lower than Stevenage. Being over 50 makes a serious difference to this sort of stuff; you could lie :big grin:

Stevenage for me. Cheap quote and they answer their phone.
