I remember seeing the adverts for the TCR slot racers but never saw one in real life. Has anyone else seen them working ? Looks like C3 vette and porker 935 plus some white thing that I suppose resembles a BMW Batmobile ? I see the vette is designed to cause a traffic jam !

TCR - my brother and I bought one from a booty several years ago. Despite the promise of the extra dimension of 'proper' overtaking the cars were very disappointing in how they went round the track and how often they just stopped in the middle of the two lanes. Also, since the cars just rubbed against the crash barrier there was no option to 'drift' the cars round.

Brental got another C3 Vette at the weekend - it was a Greenwood style C3 - smart car, but the width makes that one a tough one to get round on a Scalextric track too!

I had a feeling that it wasn't as good as the adverts showed when you actually tried to use it... don't think I'll be buying at any price then.
