I was there too hoping to see Nige do something with his car (at last) - sorry to hear about the latest problems, Nige.
Anyway, a great day out and superb to see Richard do so well in his ZR1.
However, the event is now an outing for race cars which happen to have an MOT, rather than quick street cars which I suppose was inevitable given the popularity of the event (I would guess at 50% more spectators this year and that was with an iffy weather forecast).

I was there too!
Was hoping to be cheering on VHR finally - sorry to hear about the Turbo
Only saw one vette - black ZR1 but didn't get there early enough to see you run.
Skunk was mighty impressive - what's he done to that? And what happened to the Red with white stripes supercharged Viper I saw in the pits - kaput?
Good fun allround - and Keith Cowey's R32 is flippin quick!!! 9.3 quarter @ about 160....

red viper was fine, running sweeet with no problems it was the first event to a new owner who has only had the car a few months before fitting the S/c. He ran his first ever 1/4 mile and was happy with 12.4 around 125mph, though he managed 188mph on a top speed run
Joel has done a little tinkering, over the last 12 months
He was also running for the first time since his mods and wasnt sure what to expect, the GTS wasn't flat out either !! he ran out of track, though was struggling for traction all weekend off the line, more practice needed. Though it has proved to be very reliable with quite a few road miles put on it
Stevieturbo's S/C LS6 sounded great and put in some very impressive times to

Thanks all, a great weekend for the Vipers and the 'lone wolf' ZR-1 Vette. Pity Nige couldn't make it, he would have done well no doubt. Great performance by StevieTurbo too.
After a hiccup at the Mopar Nats with the ECM chip coming dislodged (thanks to Brett for tech support) we had an uneventful trip up to TOTB.
Best top speed for me was 169 MPH with a best 1/4 of 11.99/117, 1.70 60', a NPB. 11.90 should be possible with a better 60'.
Also a BIG THANKS to Joe and Louis for bringing my wheels and to Richard Rogers for coming along and supporting.
See you at Terminal Velocity 2005.
ZR-1, still KoTH

11.99?!
Nice one Richard!
Thats the most interesting picture of a Granny I've seen in a while...very cool.
Cheers Chris, and sorry I didn't join you in the stands at the Mopar Nats as promised on Sat, I was thrashing to fix my engine problem. I was pretty pleased with the performance on what is after all, a near stock engine.
Just need to back that run up with an 11.9X at the Pod.
Talking about StevieTurbo, now that's what I call a blower, I hope you're not thinking of joining the SRS series... Congrats again on an impressive performance.
