Gearbox & Diff oil
Discussion
Just changed out my rear diff oil with Millers CRX LS 75w90 NT+ and while i was under there also changed the Manual Gearbox oil with Millers TRX Synth 75w80 GL5, ........just slotting the car in gear before i started it i could tell it was noticeably smoother...well worthwhile. Also did a coolant change flushed it 4 times with de-ionised water and then a final fill with Orange Dexcool coolant. Changed the engine oil & filter and measured what came out and put the same back in....(filled the oil filter and put in 8.7 litres.. brougt it to just under the max line on the dipstick).....could not think of any other way with the Dry Sump engine.

I'm not sure about the dry sump, but good job on changing the other fluids. I use the same diff oil in my C6.
With the dry sump you can only tell how much oil you have in by the oil being hot and checking it 5-10 minutes after shutting the engine down...so basically can't check your oil as you fill it up.I nearly had a wobbler when i first got the car and checked the oil cold......it shows zero on the dipstick....even Chevy dealers have messed this up in the States
