Have a look at this C4 guys.
It pops quite a few questions into my head.

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...

Now its listed as a 1989, but has the facelift analogue dash.
It has the early exterior so it makes me believe that it is actually a 1990.

Also the i have no idea what Bodykit that is or whether it is standard equipment or not.
(Looks Great either way)

You will also notice that on picture 37 the badge says "Collectors Edition"
Is this right? Was there a collectors edition in 1990?

Could someone who is more clued up on C4's lend their thoughts?

Yes, think you are right, it's a 1990 model year car with the "revised dash," Aftermarket body kit it has widely available from US suppliers like Ecklers etc. Not a Collectors edition C4, that was 1996.

Car has "non US" (export version) door mirrors. Doesn't say where it was imported into the UK from? My guess would be that it came in from Japan with those "add on" orange reflectors in the wings (?). On a car that's been run/used in the States, you need a CARFAX report on it. If it is a Japanese import, not sure how you check that its not a write off/heavily damaged there?

Would I pay £11k for a 83k miles car? Personally No

Blimey

I remember seeing that car on the classic classifieds.
It only went for £4000! Bloody hell!

Yep! It did need a bit of work and it didn't have a MOT on it like stated etc. Plus there would have been auction charges involved and getting it home but say £5k to your door. Not bad.

There was a high mileage 93' manual for sale on Ebay/Facebook advertised at 7.5k then 7k. It finally sold at 6K.

IMO this is very overpriced, as are a lot of C4's at the moment.

Looks like it needs new weather seals, have you seen the pic with the door mirror in, look at the door seal behind it.

This was for sale a couple of months ago, shows what you can get for that sort of money...

Also I missed out on a proper 96' manual collectors edition last year/early this year. It was up for 13k then 11k and sold for 10k! Doh! I was in the middle of moving house, bloody typical.

If you don't mind a auto there certainly is more choice.
