big thanks to paul at wortec for sorting my fault code, engine light on my C7, common code P26C8, relates to changing your exhaust, i have a billy bullet,no actuator valves, after 3 years plus the ecu/bcm works out they are not in place so throws up fault code, heads up,im gonna save all you C7 owners £100 now, its not in the ECU, its in the BCM, it costs £100 ECU license fee to plug inTo your diagnostic, only the HP2 SUITE ,can delete this, anybody can switch it off but i can gaurantee it will return,i had to pay £200 as wortec initially found it in the ECU but 1 mile up the road it pinged back on,its a bit like crash data, eventually after getting into BCM its gone for good, even the importers ian allen cannot do this as they dont have the HP SUITE, WORTEC are near havant, portsmouth, total cost was £280 but should be £180 and you send me £50 for the freeadvice

Hope I don’t need it, all that’s gone right over my head. What happened to just driving the bloody things.

I have heard good reports about Paul at Wortec over the years he has sorted out lots of hard to find ecu/bcm faults for people and is red hot at remapping.

I believe he did the mapping for Walkinshaw and Monkfish when they were around for the VXR8's and Monaros.

So is this the actuators half way along the exhaust, or the butterflies you can see in the tailpipes?

I have my fuse pulled for the actuators in the tailpipes and so far (almost 3 years) haven't seen any codes throuwn up...

yes the actuators in the original exhaust system,it relates more to aftermarket exhausts like billy bullet, borla, akroprovic that have no actuators and the setting in the infotainment screen is disabled

On wednesday I had Paul tune my car on the road, after the first download and program change even I could tell a big difference in its acceleration and driveability.
Totally happy with the results and it even starts better as he adjusted the timing on it.
Also a note to self, when doing a full run up to redline in 3rd gear, make sure its not in 5th smile
Thats how good it felt and how strong it went, we didn't realise until the speed was quite erm rapid, on a private road of course.
