Seriously considering a New Z06 sometime soon and would like to hear thoughts on depreciation. Obviously all (99%) performance cars depreciate initially, but having owned a 2007 F430 spider for 4 years and having experienced almost no depreciation in that time, I would like to get some idea of what I might expect with the 'vette'.

The dealer says it will be low due to the low numbers that exist here. But they would say that wouldn't they. Obviously nobody has a crystal ball, but what do you think?

Hi, great choice if you go with it, I’ve been following the c7 market since 2014 and obviously as you’ve said there will be some depreciation, but the stingray/grandsport/z06 are still rare in the uk and as a result it’s the old supply and demand thing coupled with a five month wait to order a new one means 2nd hand values are still healthy.

Good luck.

As an idea, 4 year old C7 Stingrays are selling around £50k at the moment, and will have cost £65-70k new (list was about £62k with no options I think in 2014). Z06 and Grand Sport are more rare, but I expect so are the potential buyers.
