Corvette events

Hi Chaps,

I wondered if there are any Corvette gatherings. Perhaps at santapod for some racing, or VMAX or marham or trackdays?

Be good to meet up with a few other vettes for a blast on track.

The last time I took a car on a track day at Marham, I spent about £1.5K having the entire front end repainted! (Including the windscreen surround!)

The surface was like a shell-grip material and it just sandpapered the paint off my car. Never again.

So are you in the Norfolk/Suffolk/Cambs area?

Down in Bracknell, Berks but happy to travel.

I see there is a new air field place near swindon. Might give that a go.

Ive done half a day at marham and it was ok on the paint. They no longer use the runway so that might help. I believe its getting resurfaced too.

Some VMAX events would be good fun. 400 is way to much for vmax though. Lets hope terminal velocity sort a new venue out. Perhaps ill try organising my own up at brunt

I've been down to Thruxton circuit today driving some of their cars and particularly enjoyed the Formula Renault single-seater,

• Fantastic day out for a modest price (£140)
• Convenient from e.g. Bracknell
• Great to jump in the Vette and drive home afterwards!

....even got to have a chat with Tiff Needell.
