It seems to be that, whilst prices of the 68-73 cars appear to be increasing in the US, that the values in the UK have held steady for years. It seems a strange situation, as usually the prices of US cars in the UK exceed those in the US.

Anyone else noticed this phenomenon? Is it time to re-import Corvettes back to the states?

Even stranger James when you consider that a 'late' C2 shares almost identical chassis and running gear - yet can be several times the price of a C3. Its the mass market thing - idiots buy in to mass produced things like early Mustangs, paying foolish prices for even 'cooking' coupe's with lo-po 289's or 6 bangers. We just need to see a few films with C3's featured and then perhaps the proper comparative values will be realised.

Mustang or this?

Yep. C2s seem to be on a runaway cost trajectory, whilst the (not much) later cars dont. In the old days I remember a big block 68/69 wasnt that far from a 67 for cost, but times have now changed. Strangely enough, the US market is seeing the value in the cars - I think its just us!

Anyway, I agree on the mustang/vette comparison!
