Corvette Nationals (from a non-owners point of view)
Discussion
Hi All,
Don't normally post here - I'm usually found on the Herts/Beds and HSV/Monaro forums.
Just decided to visit the Nats for the first time today. Don't know anything about the marque but that wasn't a problem. Met a great bunch of real friendly & knowledgeable folk and had some great chats with many of the owners. Some fab cars there and such a great atmosphere and the Sun staying out made it even better. Even let me park in the "cars of interest" and was "eligible for voting". Really REALLY glad I chose this as my day out today.
Thanks to everyone I talked to and to those who made the event happen. Think I enjoyed this more than Goodwood!
Cheers!
Mark (Holden/HSV T-shirt, Black VXR8 6.2)

Thanks for coming along Mark - car numbers were down this year compared with previous years (odd, perhaps considering how 'kind' the weather was) - one thing visitors (and fellow committee members) agreed-on was that it was one of the better events, helped by visitors like yourself coming along.

Cheers Ross, It was a privledge & honour to feel part of the Corvette family today. What a great community to be part of. Fantastic vibe to the event. Will be back for sure.
I went along too and would agree - the 'vette community is very friendly and welcoming.
Having been to the Nationals several times over the years there did seem to be less cars but the level of enthusiasm was just the same!
It was a nice touch having an area for other interesting cars. Loved the 1960 Cadillac and the two '68 Shelby 350 Mustangs.
Well done to all concerned.
