I'm tempted by one of these, especially with sub £50k cars cropping up, but wonder how far they'll fall from there and how fast. I noticed the price I paid for my c6 z06 five years ago isn't much more than you'd pay today, is the stingray going to do so well? How many cars are out there?
I would think the C6 Z06 has a rarity value now, most Euro ones have been exported to Europe.
The Stingray is a rare car but it will become "less rare" over the coming years.
I would think a Euro spec one would hold it's value better than an imported one.
My thinking is that a car "nut" would know the ins and outs of the imports, but a general sports car "buyer" wouldn't and would want a Euro spec car.
As for the depreciation, they will drop but by how far might depend on the spec of the car and availability, all which will change.
