C6 Nav - adding aux input
Discussion
Hi all,
Well, I'm getting a new laptop w/o a built-in CD burner...which must be life's way of telling me burning MP3 CDs for my C6 Nav unit is a bit old school
I'd like to add an aux input instead, but all I could find was the GM PAL which seems v expensive and in short supply... Has anyone added aux to their Nav, and if so how did you do it?
Cheers,
Gary

Hi Gary - I asked about this when I first bought my C6. Apparently, you can't add an aux input for the UK spec cars. The only way to run an iPhone or other music device is to have a FM emitter. Alternatively, you can replace the unit (Kenwood and Pioneer appear to the normal choice). There are some threads on PH, but also on CCCUK there are a few as well.
If you do find a way of adding an aux to the OEM unit, then would be interested in hearing it!
Cheers
