C7.R Edition

At this years Festival of Speed I finally placed my order for the new Z06.
A 2016 model year C7.R edition (UK) spec to be delivered next year.
After thinking about this for the last year and a half, the limited edition model nudged me over the edge.
Just got to wait now...........

Hi Rich, bit of a dilemma that one. Something needs to go to accommodate the new car. It makes sense for it to be the C6 Z06 but the problem is, that's my favourite car!

Have found out "my car" is being built around now. After shipping the expected arrival at the dealer should be middle of January.
I have been told the UK allocation is one car out of the 650 scheduled for production. The states get 500 and the rest of the world the other 150. That are all unique vin and numbered so I wonder what mine will be.
Don't think I've ever been this excited about a new car before!

Congrats! I was at the National Corvette Museum for the unveiling of the C7.R Edition. They actually changed from the reveal car to the production model (the roof yellow stripes either side of the black bit are wider than the reveal car which was VIN 001).

I have a 2015 C7 Z06 Z07 Coupe Auto which is fantastic. The best bit about the car is the sound, so much better than the 2010 ZR1 I sold after buying the 2015.

I bought one of the C7R covers at the auction at the NCM Bash earlier this year and it is spookily like the graphics I have done to my car which I did before they released the cover!

When I ordered the UK allocation was 1 car, so unless this has changed then this one is it.
