Z06 - Standard Nav or Aftermarket?
Discussion
A question please before I remove the aftermarket Audio and navigation system from my Z06..
Would you rather have the original (not great) Nav/Audio system in Z06 you were looking at?
or
a tastefully replaced (very expensive) aftermarket one and the other one supplied in a box?
cheers!

I've changed the head unit in my C6 and it's not a simple job.
The stereo is hooked up to the CanBus so you will need a CanBus module (eBay USA)
The aerial may not work as it uses a -5v supply normally from the head unit.
There were other little niggles but I can't remember what they are.
I have a pioneer Satnav, DVD, iPod compatible unit and it's brilliant, so it was worth doing even thought it was a pain in the neck to do.

Thanks for your opinions, Mine is a Kenwood DNX-7230DAB Nav/DAB/Ipod/reversing cam unit, with the canbus module and module to utilise the steering wheel controls, has the correct bezel also, wasnt easy but is great, I do know that lots of people prefer original. Also has a phoenix gold amp and a 10" JL audio sub in a supervettes enclosure, kept the rest stock bose
I also hacked the unit so it has a corvette logo on startup instead of kenwood, also has the c6 flags subtly on the main screen, im a geek
