Corvette Web Blast 09 Keith Beschi's LT5 ZR1
Discussion
First of all, this is not a commercial venture. Claremont Corvette feature in the titles as they allow us to shoot the video there.
Here's the next Corvette Web Blast and it's the only one so far to only have only CCCUK members in it. Tom Falconer is a founder member, and Keith Beschi's not far behind. With 17 years I had the least number of years in the club! As a result we also discuss the CCCUK then and now, and why it's good to be a member.
It's me, Gary Garwood and Tom, with Keith and Nigel Dobbie on Skype.
The main topic is Keith Beschi's very rare ZR1 mule, which is the earliest LT5 powered car. A "mule' is a development car, and this was scrapped by Lotus after their work on it. Keith got wind of its whereabouts and used as many bits as possible, along with a similarly aged donor car to rebuild it. It's the first UK registered car to be exhibited at the Corvette Museum.
It's 45 minutes long and if you can watch YouTube on your TV with broadband, it's in HD so looks pretty good.
Lots of interesting stuff here so please give it a look.
You'll find all the other shows on our CorvetteWebBlast YouTube channel too, but this latest one is here.
Cheers, Rob.
