Hi all, in July 95 I foolishly sold ( to finance an E Type ) a cracking December 1968 built 1969 model 350 / 350 4 speed, Daytona Yellow Stingray, that I had bought in Sarasota in 1991 and shipped back. It had a great history with it and I knew I had made a big mistake selling it.
I sold it to a " lot " who were buying up every Corvette they could get their hands on and sending them to some he called " Pierre " in Paris.
At that time the French were going mad for Corvettes and £ prices were far far higher than in England.

I still have the Chassis no. And several years ago I spent a fair amount of time contacting as many European Corvette clubs that I could find and e mailing them in the hope that it was on their records, but sadly without success.
The guy who ran the French Corvette club said that he had no record of it either which greatly surprised me.
I did contact one of the US clubs but again without success.

Anyone have any ideas where to go from here ?
I don't think I contacted the Swedish Club, but they are American / Muscle Car mad out there, so could be worth a go.

Hi.

You should try posting this on the CCCUK forum.

Morning Z06, thanks for the reply. I was a member for a few years and indid contact them as well, circa late 2007. She was still listed as belonging to me at that time, but I will them another go.

I would also like to contact some French Corvette owners if possible and there used to be a very good French Car mag called "V8 Magazine" but not sure it's still going.

Its worth also posting on the forum as there are a few members on the continent, and at least one in France. Plus lots of members travel to shows in Europe.
